At the Intersection of HPC, AI and Computer Graphics

抱歉,此内容目前仅提供英文版 Over years’ of engineering efforts and customer engagement, NVIDIA has evolved the GPU into an accelerated computing platform at the exciting intersection of high performance computing, artificial intelligence and computer graphics.

Artificial Intelligence is reshaping world’s largest industries – healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, robotics, smart cities, retail, etc. With some recent breakthroughs in NLP, AI is even learning the code of human knowledge.

Computer graphics is all about simulations. We introduced a new rendering approach, called RTX, that fuses rasterization and programmable shading with hardware-accelerated ray tracing and Artificial Intelligence.

HPC and AI are also converging to extend the reach of science and accelerate the pace of scientific innovation. With AI, HPC is tackling previously unsolvable problems by modeling the world using experimental and simulation data.

In this talk, I will first give a glance of the platforms that we are creating to expand the reach of AI into industries and applications, including the chips that we are building. Then, I will focus on the technologies that we are using to improve Computer Graphics with AI, and how they are related to robotics, digital twins, and metaverse.
